This activity is aimed at supporting voluntary and community organisations and individuals wishing to respond to the National Assembly for Wales’ Health and Social Care Committee inquiry into the contribution of Community Pharmacy to health services Wales.

Chairperson: Dr Paul Walker, former Public Health consultant
The session aims to:-
Highlight the role of the Community Pharmacy contract in enhancing health, social care and wellbeing services;
- Elaborate on the role of Local Health Boards in promoting ‘enhanced’ and ‘advanced’ services and the scope for future development, including avoidance of wastage and maladministration;
- Clarify how Community Pharmacy is performing in terms of services specified within the core contract, including rural and Communities First areas.
